Alena and Thomas were married on a hot August day, on the patio below the veranda at Skytop Lodge in Skytop, Pennsylvania. This venue boasts sweeping vistas, a stunning lobby, and an elegant reception area. Thomas and his family have spent generations at Skytop. Alena is from Belarus so this made for a festive reception in the Evergreen Ballroom. We drove out to the waterfalls for some pre-ceremony photography. Family portraits were staged in the lobby outside of the new Library bar.
Maria and Keith, and their families gathered for their wedding day at the Barn at Glistening Pond. It was a stellar February day with sun and mild temperatures. This allowed them to enjoy the surroundings at the venue. A beautifully backlit ceremony started out the day followed by dancing and merriment. The light was perfect in every direction.
Erica and Scott were married in perhaps the largest churches in Wilkes-Barre, PA,st Nicholas's Church. This is the most prominent landmark on the perimeter of downtown. Scott's family company, Martz Bus provided the transportation as the wedding party made its way to the awe inspiring interior of the Luzerne County Courthouse. Just down the river we took in the vistas next to the Millenium Circle along the Susquehanna River.
The always elegant Westmoreland Club was their venue for their reception. Cocktails, toasts and music celebrated their marriage. Scott jammed with the band and everyone danced nonstop for a festive evening.
