Kelly + Brian at Skytop Lodge

Kelly + Brian gathered their friends + family at the elegant Skytop Lodge for a spring wedding. We took advantage of the nice temperatures and traversed the trail towards Indian Ladder Falls, for some shrouded tree photo locations after a "first look" on the south porch. The perfectly lit lobby was our family group photo area.

The patio marriage ceremony was set in the Formal Garden against the porch backdrop among a plethora of tulips on all sides. Cocktails followed on the Evergreen patio outside the ballroom. DJ Marquis from Philadelphia orchestrated the festivities, before during and after a great dinner with toasts and various dances.

Dorunda Party of Two for The Barn at Glistening Pond

When Tia was five years old her father hired me to photograph her at his home. Upon setting up all the lighting in front of her rocking horse, Tia got on the horse she said, "do you want me to look mysterious?"

Flash to the next scene, her wedding. Here we are at the new Barn at Glistening Pond nestled in the hills near Lake Winola close to Falls, PA. A perfect sky set the backdrop for an intimate first look with the couple. We created all the family portraits and various other groups prior to the ceremony so everyone could enjoy a smooth transtion from the ceremony to the cocktail hour withour stepping away. Once the reception began we noticed a perfect sunset and took advantage of the glistening pond as a backdrop.

Matt + Julia at The Barn at Glistening Pond

Matt + Julia chose to privately see each other on their wedding day prior to their pond side ceremony later on their wedding day. Sharp sunny angular autumn light blanketed the scene as we made our way around the Barn at Glistening Pond for formal portraits and some casual fun.

Julia asked me to connect her with a rabbi if I knew one and when I put her in touch with Rabbi Steven Nathan, and he turned out to be the rabbi from her Bat Mitzvah! Everyone gathered and Steven told the story during the ceremony.

Cocktails on the deck and under a tent were enjoyed adjacent to the barn. This building is set up really cool inside and that's where the celebration of the marriage and the great toasts to the couple took place.
