I've known Rachel since she was twelve. She first visited my studio as part of a group of dancers with the Linn McDonald School of Dance for a poster shoot. Over the years I came to know her mom and her grandma while they lived in Dunmore, PA. It wasn't until Facebook got popular that she revealed that I went to grade school with and knew her father! We worked on several fine art projects together and Rachel started her art career. Mike and Rachel moved into a house near my studio and I would see them around the neighborhood. I got to see Mike and Rachel's relationship blossum. This wedding was at a magical location on Jeffer's Farm. Everyone collaborated to see them marry in the golden hour of the day as you will see in the wedding photographs.
New venues pop up all the time and some try to reinvent themselves. The Lands at Hillside Farm has set out to make their Cottage an expanded venue for exclusive destination weddings. There is a new permanent seasonal tent location behind the Cottage and a new parking area that compliment theexpansive properties on both sides of the road including the renovated greenhouse.
George Duffy, their new event planner approached me to create a new series of wedding and beauty imagery showcasing the essense of the Lands at Hillside Farms while incorporating the possibilities brides and grooms can expect while preparing for their big day.
Below is the magic that happened on this fall day followed by a mini film produced that day in conjunction with JVW INC.
